a monthly online gathering of church leaders
As we prepare to emerge out of the Covid-19 lockdown, many ministers are talking about how important it is that churches don’t go back to what they used to be! In the midst of the tragedy that the virus has brought with it, opportunity also exists.
In churches we find it hard to stop things, but it is perhaps slightly easier not to restart them! If you’ve begun thinking about how things need to change in your context, why not choose to journey with others who are facing the same challenges.
Leading a church through change isn’t straightforward, but it is possible, and it helps to have people you have chosen to be accountable to. The RiverTree LunchClub is an online gathering for people just like you – standing with one another to lead well in these difficult times.
Meeting roughly monthly, ten times between September 2020 and July 2021, the LunchClub provides a virtual space to:
- Be inspired,
- Make connections,
- Share your own journey of change, and
- Be supported in prayer.
Ministry can often leave you quite isolated, and it can be all to too easy to give up on the changes you know are necessary because of the expectations and difficulties you encounter along the way.
But by travelling together with others in similar roles, we can keep moving forward and grow as a leader. Using Zoom, lunch club members can be encouraged, inspired and connected from the comfort of their own desk.
Grab a sandwich, go online and become part of a community of leaders seeking God’s guidance, and benefiting from the support of others, in helping to make the church of the future a reality.
Lunch club ‘membership’ is limited.
Connect between the monthly gatherings in a private Facebook group.
Be part of this years cohort for only £50 for the whole year.
